| Problem |
Reason(s) |
Solution |
| Stitching
Problems |
| Stitch
is dropping (comes sometimes, then drops again…) |
Thread
Tension (P.No. D113 / 117) is either too loose or
tight, so looper (P.No. D 300 ) is not catching the
Thread. |
Adjust
Tension spring to give the stitch. |
|
Needle
/ Looper need to be changed - they may be worn out. |
Check
procedure for Needle/ Looper fitting (Section 4) &
fit new ones. |
|
Needle
/ Looper timing is not matching. |
Set
the timing between Needle / Looper to give stitch.
Check Section 5 |
|
Threading
is not done properly. |
Check
threading instructions in Section 1, "Machine
Installation") |
|
| Stitch is loose on the bag. |
Thread Tension is too loose. |
Tighten Thread tension, so thread passes little tightly. |
|
| Thread is breaking. |
Thread Tension is too tight. |
Loosen thread tension, so that that thread passes. |
|
| Stitch dropping only at Bag End. |
Needle / Looper timing is out. |
Check Needle / Looper or fit both new pieces. |
|
| Stitch not coming at all. |
After threading machine, a bag or some material needs to be fed into the machine for the stitch to come. |
Put the bag or or any cloth or material for the first time, near the machine mouth & press switch. The machine will catch the bag & start stitching. Once the stitch has started, it will come even without any bag. |
